In the organizer's words:
On the occasion of his upcoming 80th birthday, Duisburg sculptor Hans-Jürgen Vorsatz (*1945) is being honored with an exhibition of his work in the basement. Hans-Jürgen Vorsatz is one of Duisburg's most important sculptors. Over the past almost fifty years, he has created a remarkable oeuvre of sculptures, paintings and collages. His preferred materials are stone and metal, which he uses in his sometimes large and expansive sculptures.
