Hans Petri samples images like other beats: girls, ruins, pop songs, slogans. His photographs are created in exchange, in play, sometimes in erotically charged moments - young, self-confident, sexually astute. But nothing remains a likeness. The photographs are worn, scratched, remounted, superimposed with language, photographed again. In this way, an obsessive archive of bodies and signs grows, in which lust and violation, religion and pop, politics and disturbance, pornography and poetry flow into one another. The exhibition unfolds this cosmos in monumental density - an overwhelming experience that simultaneously seduces and overwhelms.
