Heilige Nacht

Elfriede Buchberger revives the tradition of storytelling once again this year during Advent: she reads "Holy Night" by Ludwig Thoma. She will be accompanied by the "Prielberg-Musi".

The "Holy Night" is a verse epic in Bavarian dialect by the writer Ludwig Thoma (1867 - 1921), published in 1917. Thoma transposes the Christmas story based on the Gospel of Luke into the everyday lives of the Bavarian farmers of his time.

The reading will be accompanied by the Dreigesang Rosabella and the Prielberg-Musi.
