Artificial humans or androids have always occupied the imagination, and robots have long been an everyday reality in our working world. However, the development of artificial intelligence (AI) is radically changing the way we interact with them: are robots becoming more human? The documentary follows two stories: A Japanese scientist gives his ageing mother an android to accompany her in her everyday life. And a US Army veteran goes on a road trip through the USA with Harmony, his perfect robot wife. In cooperation with DOK.fest Munich
