Hofkonzert mit Agustín Luna
In the organizer's words:
Agustín Luna , one of the most promising figures on the young Argentine guitar and music scene , will be performing in Aachen. As a guitarist, composer, and arranger, Luna combines the musical clarity of Johann Sebastian Bach and the colorful musical language of Heitor Villa-Lobos with the vibrant traditions of Argentine tango and folklore.
In his arrangements, he adapts even complex, large-scale orchestral works for solo guitar, thereby opening up new perspectives on well-known musical works. At the same time, the musical traditions of his homeland flow directly into his own compositions.
In addition to regular performances at the renowned Guitarras del Mundo Festival, Agustín Luna performs on concert stages around the world and regularly appears as a guest artist in Europe, including in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and France.
In Aachen, Luna will present not only tango and folklore pieces but also his own new compositions from his album“Luna llena,” released in 2026. Different musical traditions and eras converge in a program that re-explores the sonic possibilities of the classical guitar.
The event is part of the supporting program for the Aachen Art Route 2026 . On this occasion, the following will be on display at LOGOI:
