Hold Space - Sample Core
In the organizer's words:
On Sunday, October 4, Backsteinboot opens its own “core.” From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Holding Space—a private, invitation-only event—invites participants to a discussion on “holding space” as a cultural practice: How do independent spaces emerge that can endure? From 4–10 p.m., Sample Core will be open to the public on a donation basis: an exhibition by the Backsteinboot crew featuring images, sounds, texts, and installations. The people behind the bar, at the door, handling tech, providing care, cleaning, managing, and setting up will step out from behind the scenes to show what keeps this place running.
