Honahleiis an internationalindie-folk duo consisting of Costa Rican singerMichelle Gonzalez(formerlyMishCatt) and Austrian musicianKevin Etheridge. Together, they create a warm, organic sound that blends acoustic folk with gentle pop elements and world music influences.

Honahlei was foundedin 2024. Shortly after their debut, the duo reachedseveral million streamsand quickly made a name for themselves in the international indie-folk scene with their authentic, timeless sound. The nameHonahleiis inspired by the mythical place “Honah Lee” from the song“Puff the Magic Dragon”and symbolizesnostalgia, freedom, and narrative depth.

InDecember 2024, Honahlei released their debut album“Nosara Tapes,” a collection of intimate songs that oscillate between wanderlust, a connection to nature, and personal stories. The music thrives on harmonies, acoustic guitars, and a calm, inviting atmosphere that comes into its own both on recordings and in live performances.

Honahlei has already made a strong impression live asthe opening act on Sean Koch’s European tour.Their first headlining tour of Europeis planned for2026, accompanied by the release of their second studio album.
