In the Ferris wheel: Children's book reading with Rüdiger Bertram

Admission: please be at the Ferris wheel by 14:45 at the latest
Start: 15:00 - 15:30 followed by a meet & greet with the author.
Recommended age: 6 years and older

We listen live via headphones to the author Rüdiger Bertram, who will read us his story "Welcome to the Hotel Zur Grünen Wiese". While we let our gaze wander from the gondolas over the hustle and bustle of the north of Cologne, we will hear from Adlon, who is both a grasshopper and the hotel manager. Together we will find out who has been keeping an eye on the princess and where Karl the Beetle has disappeared to. There's always a lot going on at the Hotel zur grünen Wiese! From high up on the Ferris wheel, people look a bit like insects, don't they?

Rüdiger Bertram, Reading Artist of the Year 2022, takes us through his work. We get the feeling that we are sitting right next to the author thanks to the excellent sound quality of the headphones. The volume can be adjusted individually. There will be an online stream on which the reading will be supplemented with illustrations from the book. (This requires a device (smartphone/tablet) with internet access).

The pure reading time is 30 minutes. There will be time before and after to get in and out. From 4 - 6 tickets a gondola will be provided, for less than 4 people the gondola will be shared with other listeners.
