“In My Head” spotlights eight contemporary artistic perspectives and invites viewers to delve deeply into the work of these artists. The title refers to the creative process in which reality is transformed in the mind and translated into art. Through key works, the exhibition fosters focused encounters with diverse artistic perspectives and forms of expression. The collection exhibition follows a fundamental principle of the Museum Brandhorst: it presents selected bodies of work in all their complexity. Each room offers a unique perspective on an artistic practice, highlighting the characteristic interplay of visual motifs, thematic questions, and formal strategies. Painting, photography, and sculpture are presented on an equal footing, reflecting the media diversity of the Brandhorst Collection as well as the Eva Felten Photo Collection.
