In the organizer's words:

You can help insects not only by creating flower beds, but also by providing nesting aids that they can no longer find in nature. Experts from NABU will show you how to make your own nesting aids—for wild bees, for example—using simple materials. We’ll use a wide variety of materials, such as wooden blocks, reeds, a clay-sand mixture, and tin cans. The workshop is open to anyone interested, whether or not you have prior crafting experience. There will also be a presentation on the nesting behavior of wild bees and solitary wasps. At the end, you can take home a nesting aid you made yourself.

We ask those who are able to contribute a flat fee of 2 euros to cover material costs. Everyone is warmly invited to give what they can—or, as always, to participate for free.

We’ll have coffee, tea, and water ready for you at the workshop.

We look forward to seeing you!
