"GREEN UP YOUR LIFE!" is a traveling exhibition dedicated to the environmental issues of our time and presents a selection of projects by winners and nominees of the Federal Ecodesign Award, Germany's highest state award for ecological design. In addition to the eight award-winning projects, Stadtmarketing Köln is presenting three of its own sustainable projects: In addition to innovative winter lighting and extensive clean-up campaigns in Cologne's city center, the shading of Hohe Strasse in particular is a highly exciting concept that will positively improve the ambience in Cologne's most popular shopping street during the summer months. The project is being supported by the University of Cologne.
The official opening of the exhibition will take place on October 2 at 3 pm in the market hall of Cologne Central Station.
The following eight innovative projects will be presented in the exhibition. In addition, some of the award winners will present their projects with information boards and exciting exhibits on attractive planting islands throughout the station.
