The duo Pertar takes the audience at the Palais Wittgenstein on a multifaceted musical journey that bridges Asian and Western musical traditions. Kristian Sievers (guitar) and Lin Chen (percussion) combine the marimba, vibraphone, darbuka, djembe, and East Asian instruments to create a fascinating sonic spectrum. Moving between meditative calm and rhythmic energy, they create original compositions and arrangements that evoke South American dances, Balinese landscapes, and cinematic soundscapes—an intimate concert experience that transcends musical boundaries.
