Let's imagine the following: The economic miracle after the Second World War did not take place in Germany, but in Turkey, and German guest workers helped to rebuild Turkey. The city that welcomed the new arrivals was not Bonn, but Istanbul. Experience the story of Bonn guest worker Klaus Gruber, who moves with his family to the dazzling metropolis of Istanbul in the 1960s. Between workbench, bazaar, vibrant nightlife and teahouses, the family overcomes challenges and discovers a new home.
