ALLÉGORIE CITADINE - Alice Rohrwacher, JR - 21'

For an exhibition that ultimately never took place, the Musée Pompidou asked Leos Carax to respond in images to the question: "Where are you right now, Leos Carax?" He answers with a film full of questions in the tradition of Jean-Luc Godard's late film essays. The Frenchman looks back on his life and work, on his collaborations with actors such as Juliette Binoche and Denis Lavant. Incidentally, Carax himself has just played a leading role in ALLÈGORIE CITADINE, a short film by Alice Rohrwacher and JR, which premiered in Venice.
