Between the wild sounds and picturesque landscapes of Peru and Argentina - the feeling of freedom!

Twice nominated for the German Jazz Award, saxophonist Inga Rothammel's compositions move between complex, interwoven melodies and wild improvisations. Recorded sounds from nature - from Peru and Argentina - flow into the pieces and merge with the musicians' interwoven melodies and soundscapes.

Classical/jazz and experimental elements as well as contrasting, versatile structures and sounds characterize the musical landscape.

Carpets of sound, warm sounds and high frequencies rub against each other. Like the wings of a butterfly, the sounds carry you a little way and reveal a beautiful landscape full of magic.

In December 2022, Inga resided in the jungles of Peru for an extended period of time and traveled with her saxophone to the south of Argentina.
