Feature film - B, F 2025 - 104' - OmU
Director: Jean-Pierre Dardenne, Luc Dardenne
The Belgian brothers Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne have won numerous awards for social dramas such as ROSETTA and THE CHILD, which show one or sometimes two people fighting for survival. For their 13th feature film, the duo change their approach and now observe young women, almost still children, who give birth themselves. Usually left alone by their environment and their fathers, the young mothers receive support in a social institution and develop a degree of hope that makes this drama the most optimistic film in the brothers' long career.
All about the power of images in film, pop culture, art and society. At FILM FESTIVAL COLOGNE from October 9-16, 2025 and always online.
