JOAQUINO PAYASO und seine sieben Koffer
In the organizer's words:
When Joaquino Payaso stumbles through the middle of the audience with his suitcases, he captures the children’s attention from the very first moment. A colorful show begins, in which he opens one suitcase after another, using their contents as inspiration for his acts. There’s a song, juggling, plenty of clowning around, and above all, he consistently knows how to involve the children in the flow of the show, enticing them to join in.

Achim Sonntag, born in 1961, is a freelance children’s theater artist. A native of Düsseldorf, he has lived in Wengen in the Allgäu region since 2007. After gaining experience in a wide variety of theater forms, he discovered children’s theater over 30 years ago through his own children. Through continuous work, he developed a concept with two main focuses: 1. he strongly appeals to children’s imaginations, and 2. he always involves his audience in the unfolding of the plot. The children become an indispensable part of the action on stage. Based on this concept, Achim Sonntag has created eighteen plays to date, with which he has toured throughout Germany—and increasingly abroad (so far to Austria, Italy, Luxembourg, and Spain)—with great success.
For children ages 3 and up. Running time: 45 min.
Admission: €4.00 (children), €6.00 (adults)
