When a light hint of hairspray wafts through the air, the sky turns pink and somewhere in the distance a detonated confetti cannon can be heard, it can only mean one thing: John Diva & The Rockets Of Love are on the road again, filling venues all over Germany. In their luggage: their sweaty 80s rock with low-hanging guitar, tightly wrapped bandana and 100 poses per minute. That's entertainment, ladies & gentlemen.

Since spring 2023 John Diva & The Rockets Of Love are back on Germany's stages. So it could get loud, because when one of our most distinguished 80s rock bands lets their amplifier walls sound and plays brightly colored hits like "Bling Bling Marilyn", "Rocket Of Love" and "Lolita", the decibel display tends to scratch the red zone. The music of the group transports the image of hip swings and raised fists, of rebellion and sex. Whether boisterous rock songs, catchy party hymns or ballads as big as the Malibu sun: John Diva & The Rockets Of Love bring the best of the 80s to the stage, only more fun.

The occasion for the concert tour is "The Big Easy", the group's third record - and the name says it all. "We wanted to record an album that sounds like Capri sun," guitarist Snake Rocket explains the process of creating the long-player. It took John Diva & The Rockets Of Love only six months from the first song idea to the finished album. There are two reasons for this. On the one hand, the five musicians could hardly save themselves from new ideas after their last tour. On the other hand, the band was drawn as quickly as possible back to where they belong: in the limelight. Because only when the sweaty hair of the audience flies around wildly, and when the floor shakes because of rocking and dancing, do the glam rockers really feel at home. They were able to prove this not only on numerous headliner tours, but also several times at the Wacken Open Air and other big festivals. John Diva and the stage: It's a match. "We would love to play live again first thing tomorrow," says frontman Diva. That's exactly how it turns out.

John Diva & The Rockets Of Love have already set off the first "The Big Easy" fireworks: In March, April and May, the glam party lions successfully toured Switzerland, Nuremberg, Hanover, Cologne and many other cities. This was followed by an extended festival summer with over ten shows. In the fall and winter of 2023, John Diva and his love rockets will follow up with even more sun-tanned 80s rock and tour Bonn, Bensheim as well as Bochum, among others, as part of the second leg of "The Big Easy" tour and will traditionally close the year in Solingen. A thick load of Californian sunshine in the cold time of the year can't hurt, right? "The Big Easy," that is. The name says it all.

The best news: in the spring of 2024, it continues right away. The "The Big Easy Reloaded" tour is already in the starting blocks and will take the band to Hamburg, Munich and many other places. John Diva & The Rockets Of Love are back on Germany's stages - and they don't plan to leave them again.
