Anyone listening to Jonathan Jeremiah's impressive discography will be struck first and foremost by the British musician's deep, rich baritone voice. Born in London, he discovered his musical side as a child and continued to develop and shape it, performing on stage for the first time at the tender age of 14. From the very beginning, Jeremiah has been influenced by classic songwriters such as John Martyn, Scott Walker and Serge Gainsbourg, while his lyrics deal with everyday observations and experiences that he encounters in his home in North London. The Londoner also takes a classical approach to his own music production, in which he almost completely dispenses with modern technological possibilities. As a result, the soul- and RnB-influenced songs sound as if they have come from the 60s or 70s, not only because of their sound, but also because of the production method. Jonathan Jeremiah has released five albums in the past 15 years: from the celebrated debut album "A Solitary Man" (2011), which marked the Brit's breakthrough, to the current album, "Horsepower For The Streets", released in 2022. More than enough material for Jonathan Jeremiah to choose from for his upcoming tour. In November, he will also be heading to Germany, where the Brit will be stopping off in Cologne, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich. The tour is presented by event., laut.de and MusikBlog.de.
