A pilot crashes his plane in the middle of the desert. To save his life, he has to hurry with the repairs. His water supply will only last a few days. After the first night, he is suddenly woken up by an unfamiliar voice. The little prince stands before him and asks him: "Draw me a sheep." As mysterious as this encounter begins, it continues.

The pilot learns that the little prince comes from a distant planet. On his journey to Earth, he meets strange people: a king without subjects, a stressed businessman and a lonely lamplighter. He also makes friends with a fox and learns a big secret from him.

A deep friendship develops between the Little Prince and the pilot. But at some point it is time to return home, because there is a rose that the Little Prince has left behind and for which he feels responsible.

'The Little Prince' is about friendship, dreaming and questions such as: Why are we racing through life like this? What things are truly important? And: How can we succeed in trying to understand each other, even if we supposedly come from different planets? Isn't this attempt perhaps even a great opportunity and a unifying force?

The play will be performed in both spoken and German sign language.
