Kalleslam - Poetry Slam Karlshorst

The Karlshorst Poetry Slam is kicking off its new season!

Since 2015, Ortwin Bader-Iskraut has been hosting one of Berlin’s longest-running neighborhood poetry slams at the Kulturhaus Karlshorst.
A classic open-mic slam meets a musical act that’s a real treat.
And sometimes the big names of the slam scene stop by when they’re on tour in Berlin.
Add to that socialist-style bargain prices at the bar and old-school, down-to-earth bar staff—it’s basically a pub slam without the pub.
What more could you want on an early Sunday evening?

Open Mic: Anyone who wants to perform just needs to show up at the Box Office by 6:45 p.m. There are usually at least 3 spots on the open mic list; if there are too many sign-ups, we’ll draw lots!
