ABOUT EL PÉNDULO

“El péndulo” is Spanish and means “the pendulum.” Horacio Peralta is the creator of all the characters that move on strings. The music and puppet theater owes its often South American sounds to Horacio Peralta’s Argentine roots. The program features Argentine tangos and folk music from various Latin American countries. Together with Lucia Beyer, a musician from the Stuttgart State Orchestra, the puppet ensemble comes to life, accompanied by viola, guitar, and charango.
