KINO Die Unbeugsamen 2 - Guten Morgen, ihr Schönen!
In the organizer's words:
This documentary paints a portrait of East German women from various walks of life: 15 self-assured women who grew up in the GDR and championed their personal freedom and women’s rights in different ways. They recount how, even in a country where equality was mandated by the state, patriarchy still reigned. In doing so, they create a kaleidoscope of gender relations in the workers’ and peasants’ state. The film provides a captivating platform for these women’s life achievements and their struggle for equal opportunity.
