Petra Kelly was an unconventional peace campaigner and environmental activist who was way ahead of her time. She believed that one person could change the world. In the 1980s, she mobilized hundreds of thousands of people against the stationing of nuclear missiles in West Germany and became known as a co-founder and star of the Green Party. Kelly became a symbolic figure of the peace movement in Europe and was in contact with personalities such as Wolf Biermann, Joan Baez and the Dalai Lama. She called for a radical transformation of society 40 years ago and campaigned for environmental, peace and human rights issues.

PETRA KELLY - ACT NOW! is a rediscovery of a political activist who was exceptional in her fight for women's rights and climate protection and her international orientation and networking. Far ahead of her time and today a role model for many young people who are exercising their right to civic engagement to save our planet, even outside the political arena.
