Konzert: Hello my Name is - HipHop, Open Mic und Liveband

On Long Friday in September, the Münster-based hip-hop project “Hello my Name is” will once again be performing at the LWL Museum of Art and Culture. For ten years now, the event has been touring various parts of the city while staying true to its tried-and-true format: hip-hop – open mic – band.

“Hello my Name is” has already performed at the museum in 2022 and 2023—and now the next show is coming up. The event kicks off with selected opening acts. Following that, the open mic with a live band forms the centerpiece of the performance. Here, newcomers meet experienced artists, prepared lyrics meet spontaneous ideas, and rap meets a band that musically captures even the most unexpected moments.

This creates an open, creative space that offers room for new voices, musical encounters, and unplanned, unique moments. Direct, lively, and collaborative—a slice of authentic hip-hop culture right in the heart of the museum.

The concert will take place on Long Friday (September 11) from 8:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in the foyer of the LWL Museum of Art and Culture. Admission is free.
