ROSHKO
“When you channel all your energy and focus into the music, that sound becomes everything you are in that moment. For a brief instant, you are nothing but expression.”
When ROSHKO begins to sing, it feels a bit like you’re secretly eavesdropping on her. That’s because she doesn’t waste a single thought on the inhibitions of self-expression. The lyrics aren’t meant for anyone in particular; they stand on their own. They are the things you don’t say because your soul is screaming too loudly. Light as a feather yet deeply moving, unapologetically intimate, and profoundly loving, they whisk you away to your own inner abyss—home.

She is currently working on her debut album, scheduled for release in early 2027. With great musical sensitivity, she explores what the songs themselves want, as opposed to what the listening ear expects. It is meant to be an invitation to allow for silence and space, to endure purity and friction—and then to dance it all away. Sometimes profound, sometimes with absolute lightness, the artist’s arrangements move between the boundaries of genres. Her vocals—as delicate as they are haunting, as empowering as they are vulnerable—carry you through the moment—and repeatedly invite you to lose yourself in it.

whoiswelanski

whoiswelanski are Tobias Weber and Josef Pötzinger, two elementary school friends from the deepest countryside of Upper Bavaria. Their music spans indie, electronica, folk, and digital noise.
Acoustic drums, electric guitar, bass, and electronic samples blend with catchy melodies, dreamy soundscapes, and experimental sounds.
Following their debut album “TALK” (2020), their inclusion in the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg’s band pool, airplay on DLF Nova, PULS, BR2, and Radioeins, and the album “Only in Arts” (2022), the EP “Me and my life” followed in late 2025. The EP also marked the start of a new live tour with concerts in Giessen, Mainz, Freiburg, and Munich.
Live, whoiswelanski performs as a trio with Michael Maier on bass. In 2026, they’ll continue with new songs, new ideas, and music that’s a mix of catchy tunes and a sonic scavenger hunt.
