The berry are two uncouth rap non-conformists from Leipzig. In their mostly pissed-off lyrics, the two rabblerousers complain about things that are simply not cool - be it toxic masculinity, racism or dishonorably exaggerated Netflix worship.

Musically clearly influenced by hip hop, punk and electronic dance music, the two gutter poets rap, shout and sing until they're dripping with sweat. Lauren, originally from the Arizona desert, and Lukas, who crawled out of the dreary coal mines of Saarland, want you to jump up and down while they loudly vent their anger about various bullshit. The two young professionals have already successfully celebrated this at numerous shows, including in the USA.

the berry is a completely self-managed music project. All creative and technical impulses come from a small crew of like-minded people. DIY in your face! Here the boss still grunts herself.
