Konzert: UNSEEN - zwischen Magie, Spiritualität und Poesie
In the organizer's words:
On September 15 at 7 p.m., the E-MEX Ensemble from Essen will once again perform at the LWL Museum of Art and Culture in Münster. Together with mezzo-soprano Hasti Molavian, the artists will offer a new way to experience music.
Works by French pianist and composer Claude Debussy, German composer Robert Schumann, and contemporary composer and musician Akemi Kobayashi explore themes of spirituality, mysticism, and poetry.
The program concludes with the audio theater piece “UNSEEN” by Polish composer Marcin Stańczyk. Here, the audience is invited to experience the performance while blindfolded. Participants follow only the sound—and in doing so, discover auditory worlds that remain hidden from view.
The E-Mex Ensemble, which specializes in contemporary music and performs internationally, was founded in 1999. Central to its philosophy is working closely with composers in direct, personal exchange and presenting diverse perspectives within contemporary music.
