GUIIM 구이임 ... is a trio consisting of jeogga singer 구민지 Koo Minji, pianist and gyeonggi-sori singer 이채현 Lee Chaehyeon and gayageum player 임정완 Lim Jeongwan. The name of the ensemble is made up of the names of the members - deliberately without a fixed meaning, so that no images or terms restrict the artistic orientation. The ensemble works according to the principle that everyone can play an equal leading role: All members contribute their musical ideas and develop them further together. In this way, the group remains open to diverse musical perspectives and does not allow itself to be restricted to specific forms or genres. Their work earned them the Grand Prize at the 21C Korean Music Project 2024 and multiple nominations at the California Music Video & Film Awards 2022. With a guest appearance by 김지연 Kim Jiyeon (Gayageum).
