Krach aufm Dach ! Das Festival für selbstgebaute Musik forscht weiter
In the organizer's words:
Sat., Oct. 10, 2026, from 4 to 9 p.m. // Haus der Statistik // Installations on the 10th floor and rooftop of the recently completed building (Karl-Marx-Allee 1, 10178 Berlin).
Featuring: Pilocka Krach (DJ), Cosmic Soldier (DJ), Saba Arat (live), Agente Costura (live), Lev (interactive installations), Human Beat Machine (interactive installation by Johannes Marx), Tom Meier (kinetic installations), Selbstgebaute Musik Kollektiv (concept and installation).
In this second research edition, we’re focusing on concerts and installations, as well as your participation in listening and music activities.
The Festival for DIY Music 2026/2027 will be different—smaller and more experimental. This year, we’re exploring new approaches and possibilities for how to organize the festival in the future: with even more participatory ideas where we develop projects over longer periods of time together with artists and visitors; through new collaborations, new participants, and perhaps even completely different dates and venues, etc.
That’s why we’re conducting research this year at various locations using different formats. The results of this exploratory journey will ultimately be incorporated into the planning for 2027.
