The Kimuntu project takes us on a musical journey to the heart of Africa. It celebrates one of the oldest and most popular musical traditions on the continent: Congolese rumba - now recognized as an intangible UNESCO cultural heritage of humanity.

The program presents rumba in all its diversity and with all its variations, together with other musical styles that have emerged from it. The lively and powerful rhythms of African folklore take listeners, past and present, into new worlds. The journey with the Congolese rumba and African traditions is full of passion and encourages cultural exchange.
