KUMBIA QUEERS

The one-of-a-kind and unforgettable Kumbia Queers from Buenos Aires are back on tour in Europe! Forget everything you thought you knew about cumbia! The non-binary and lesbian quintet blends the dark, electronic-influenced subgenre of cumbia villera with driving guitar rock to create a unique, dynamic fusion of traditional and modern sounds.

“The spectacular beats promise change—right here, right now. Yet within the swaying rhythm of cumbia, everything remains balanced and seductive.”

+ Special Guest: CUNTINE

Cuntine cooks up queer-feminist bratpop on two basses. Hailing from the Neukölln underground, the band serves up a menu of indie, punk, and other ingredients—and has zero interest in low-calorie fare.
