The popular art, antique and flea market in the Neustädter Markthalle Dresden opens its doors again on Saturdays. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can rummage for treasures on two floors, discover rarities and find favorite pieces for their collections.

Every Saturday, the market hall on Hauptstraße is transformed into a veritable treasure trove. A wide selection of collector's items awaits on the second floor: Pictures, porcelain, jewelry, antique postcards, coins, medals, historical advertising signs and antiquarian books make collectors' hearts beat faster. Whether you are looking for a new piece of jewelry for your display case or simply want to browse through the selection - there is something here for every enthusiast.

The basement, on the other hand, offers practical items for everyday life and hobby needs. Whether crockery, tools or household items - there is a wide range of useful articles and a colorful selection of modern toys for the youngest. Children in particular can look forward to soft toys, dolls, building blocks, toy cars and creative craft materials.

Historic tin toy train in action

A special highlight awaits visitors on the second floor: the "Blechbahn-Freunde Dresden" exhibition. Here, fans of historic toy trains can admire an original Märklin tinplate railroad, which shows locomotives and wagons over 100 years old on 0 and 1 gauge tracks in motion. The rare trains from the time of grandparents and great-grandparents attract particularly nostalgia-loving visitors and make the eyes of young and old train enthusiasts light up.

Practical parking tip

There is good news for those who arrive by car and cannot find a parking space directly at the market hall: the nearby public parking lot on Wigardstraße is available to the public free of charge at the weekend. This makes it much easier to find a parking space and ensures that visitors can immerse themselves in the hustle and bustle of the market in a relaxed manner.
