When it's supposed to be festive due to the calendar and we're still rushing off to get presents, organize families, write questionable cards to loved ones far away, quickly knit something and find ecologically sound tinsel, it's time to pause for an hour and spend time with children, friends and art. Time to get into the tik. Here's to a glass of punch, mulled wine or beer and a bit of togetherness.
We invite you to join us.
The first candle - still barely in November - is lit at tik SeiGone. Behind this homophone of Saigon (for geography nerds: Vietnam's capital), which is also a play on words from the German "sei" and the English "gone", is Melanie. Not only her project name, but also her poetic songs give rise to a little thoughtfulness. Not the worst thing when the earth has almost completed its orbit around the sun!
Melanie's lyrics and melodies are inspired by walks, journeys, paths ... They are the result of restlessness and the desire to give new form to experiences, thoughts and feelings in sounds and words. You may know Melanie from our last Intermezzo or from our Open Stage. If you really don't know her yet, then it's high time you did.
