On December 21, the shortest day of the year, HausDrei will once again open its doors for Short Film Day - Germany's biggest day of action for short films. We want to get together, make ourselves comfortable and experience special moments together. There will be punch to warm you up before we sit back and enjoy the stories.
We are showing the program "Family Ties": Family can be many things - friends, partners with children or simply people who support each other. There is always movement in the family - small conflicts, surprising closeness and unexpected moments characterize everyday life. What connects family members and what things can you laugh about together?
Seven short films from the last ten years, some of them award-winning, uncover lines of conflict: sometimes more, sometimes less colorful, but always with love and a dose of humor.
The series offers a varied look at what makes a family - from quirky childhood memories to humorous observations of everyday life and sensitive stories about closeness, responsibility and conflict. Animated and dialog-free films broaden the perspective and show how relationships and feelings are interwoven in surprising ways.
We show the program with sign language overlays and subtitles for the hearing impaired.
