Schauspielworkshop auf Spanisch

This theater workshop in Spanish is aimed at people with acting experience, very good Spanish skills, or native speakers, and will take place on Saturday, the 19th, and Sunday, the 20th of September, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at Studio11 in Cologne-Ehrenfeld.

The goal of the workshop is to deepen the understanding that the spoken word on stage is action. To this end, the texts will first be read and analyzed. Then, through improvisations based on the texts, the spoken word will be translated into action—with a special focus on what happens with one’s counterpart on stage.

The workshop is designed as a space for experimentation and training, with an emphasis on active listening, the relationships between characters, and the plot as the fundamental driving force of acting.

On both days, participants will work with short texts that will be distributed on the first day of the workshop.

Guest Instructor:
Jimena Paz Lima—actress, director, and instructor from Buenos Aires.
