OpusEinhundert: Einblick in die Theaterlabore

Two theaters share a venue in the Volkshaus: Wilde Bühne and Opus Einhundert have been based here since 2013 and take turns performing on stage.

This also applies to the Long Night: In consecutive time slots of 20-30 minutes each, they present themselves and give insights into their work.

Would you like to get a taste of the stage? In this half-hour workshop with dance, theater and music educators Larissa Günthör, Farina Maletz and Maic Wrehde, you will get an insight into dance, theater and music exercises. We will warm up our bodies, voices and facial expressions with fun and games and prepare ourselves for a long evening at the Long Night of the Bremen Stages.

OpusEinhundert is a non-profit cultural institution based in the Theater im Volkshaus. Since 2011, OpusEinhundert has been designing and implementing inclusive and intergenerational music, dance and theater projects in Bremen and northern Germany. Culture becomes the occasion for "unique encounters", "fantastic community experiences" and "incomparable experiences", according to participants. With the "Theater im Volkshaus" (TiV), OpusEinhundert offers cultural participation for a wide range of target groups. Since 2013, the theater has been hosting cultural events such as family plays, concerts, readings and guest performances, making it a place for encounters, participation and movement beyond the district. Many nursery and primary school children enjoy their first theater experience with the traditional family play at Christmas time.
