Legalize Neuss! Wolfgang Neuss - Der Mann mit der Pauke wird 100

In the organizer's words:

The actor and cabaret artist Wolfgang Neuss will be 100 years old on December 3, 2023. To mark the occasion, the ufaFabrik is organizing a five-day Wolfgang Neuss Festival with contemporary witnesses, film documents, lectures, an exhibition and a live theater performance.

In the place where Wolfgang Neuss celebrated his 65th birthday during his lifetime, people who experienced the great cabaret artist and actor, the comedian and man with the timpani themselves will gather in three rooms over five days, showing and explaining excerpts from rarely shown films and documents and asking the question: what does Wolfgang Neuss, one of the most influential film stars and cabaret artists of the post-war years before reunification, still have to say to us today?
