The North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences, Humanities and the Arts cordially invites you to the Leo Brandt Event 2025 on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, 5 pm.
The United Nations has designated 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. The North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences, Humanities and the Arts has taken this up and made quantum its theme for the year, which will also shape this year's Leo Brandt event with the awarding of the Karl Arnold Prize, an intervention by the Junge Kolleg and, of course, the keynote speech.
In addition, this year's annual exhibition, entitled "überZEICHNUNG", will also be opened in this festive setting. Members of the Academy will present their sketches and notes, which were not originally intended for the public, thus providing rare insights into the process of creating something completely new.
