When Alex, who is severely disabled, suggests to his best friend Lovis that they travel around the world together for a year, the two don't hesitate for a second. Two backpacks, a plan that emerges along the way - and plenty of courage. Whether in a van through New Zealand or in the remote Amazon region - they encounter foreign cultures, great challenges and themselves. While Lovis supports Alex with barriers, Alex helps Lovis' ADHD with calm and structure. A moving plea for inclusion in practice, mutual support and the power of true friendship.


About the author Alexander Källner:
Alexander Källner, born in Wiesbaden in 1998 and raised in Hamburg, lives for adventure. His congenital muscle and joint disease (AMC) doesn't stop him from dreaming big. While studying sports management and business psychology, he spent a semester abroad in Spain - the starting signal for a trip around the world. Today he lives in Hamburg and works as an inclusion officer and sports director for soccer at SC Poppenbüttel.


About the author Lovis Wiefelspütz:
Lovis Wiefelspütz, born in Hamburg in 1997, is a true northern light. After completing his bachelor's degree in media management and journalism, the creative mind with an ADHD diagnosis now works as a freelance podcaster, graphic designer, author and photographer - back in Hamburg. Alexander and he collected 4 TB of photo and video material on their trip around the world.
