Martina Hefter is this year's winner of the German Book Prize. Based on the theme of "love scamming", her award-winning novel "Hey guten Morgen, wie geht es dir?" also deals with the themes of care, colonialism, loneliness and freedom and weaves them into an intense, dense and clever story. The protagonist Juno chats with men who confess their love for women online and try to scam them out of their money. But instead of falling for it, these very men become a form of freedom for Juno.

Martina Hefter will be presenting her novel at the PalaisPopulaire. The discussion will be moderated by Marie Kaiser.

The German Book Prize is one of the most important literary prizes in Germany. The Deutsche Bank Foundation is the main sponsor of this award.
