At the "Reichsbürger trial" in Frankfurt, the enemies of the constitution have long been sitting in the audience. Anti-Semitic slogans are sprayed on the walls of universities in the middle of Germany. Everything is hyper-political, including art. Prof. Kathrin Röggla (KHM Cologne) wanders through our present as a committed contemporary. She looks, listens, questions the words and risks her sentences. Röggla is a professor of literary writing in Cologne. She was awarded the Cologne Heinrich Böll Prize in 2023 for "Laufendes Verfahren" about the NSU trial.
