After the death of Carolina Flanders, a 70s fashion icon, her son not only has to come to terms with his grief, but with life in general. His West Berlin boutique is doing more or less well, as are his relationships. And hovering over everything is the question of appearance or reality. The new book by Leif Randt ("Allegro Pastell" and others // Kiepenheuer & Witsch) is a family novel, comedy and social satire all in one.
