Brandenburg State Police Orchestra Meets The Poetry Project Berlin
What are the experiences of future citizens from Syria, Afghanistan, and Ukraine with German law enforcement? What do refugees think of when they hear the word “police”?
Seven authors from The Poetry Project Berlinexplored these questions in their writings. They’ll read stories about encounters with the “friend and helper” in uniform. The Brandenburg State Police Orchestra will respond to them with music.
An unusual encounter on artistic ground, designed to deepen mutual understanding and foster dialogue.
Free admission. Donations to support the work of The Poetry Project are welcome.
