The Process is the first book by the independent music label light-years, which was founded in 2021 by Caterina Barbieri. It brings together early photographic works by Swiss artist Georg Gatsas and documents the underground music and art scene in New York between 2002 and 2007. In addition to large-format reproductions of the photographs, the book presents an extensive collection of record covers, items of clothing, correspondence and found objects from Georg's personal archive.

The publication will be accompanied by live concerts by musicians Marta De Pascalis and Sophie Vitelli.
