Literaturklub: Auf Trab mit Laura Hansen und Luzie Kasnitz

In the organizer's words:

The loose series of literature zines from parasitenpresse leipzig includes Auf Trab (feat. DJ Pferdefresse), an artistic collaboration with images, texts and drawings by the two Hildesheim-based artists Laura Hansen and Luzie Kasnitz on the subject of horses/molded horses/pegasus. But anyone expecting an equine booklet will be disappointed, as it also deals with questions of beauty and politics, NSU murders and wanted Nazis. The two present their work and the zine in a reading and discussion.

Laura Hansen (she/her) likes to write about the unpleasant things in life, but in her private life she is quite tolerable. She is part of the feminist collective Naturtrüb and is active as a musician in the band FUK (@fuk.music on Instagram). In 2023, her poetry debut Werde ich alt oder unsichtbar was published by hochroth Verlag and she is studying literary writing in Hildesheim.

Luzie Kasnitz, born in Cologne in 2001, writes poetry and prose. Since 2022 she has been publishing zines at parasitenpresse leipzig

Zines, most recently the zine "Auf Trab" appeared there. She also designs covers for parasitenpresse. In addition to her studies in Hildesheim (literary writing), she has been part of the ELK Festival, which takes place every year in Cologne-Kalk, since 2019. She is now also co-editor of the literary magazine BELLA triste.
