Are black holes the promise of a new beginning? This interdisciplinary 60-minute fulldome production is dedicated to this question and is based on the novel "Da waren Tage" by Luna Ali. The performance tells the story of Aras, a law student who lives in Germany and follows the Syrian revolution from afar. Year after year, the political events in Syria become a greater part of his reality - whether in the lecture hall, when dealing with the authorities or on talk shows.
Between literature, music, media art and science, an immersive space-time collage is created in which black holes become visible not only as an astrophysical phenomenon, but also as a poetic metaphor for change, loss and hope.
The reading will be staged by Fabian Saul, Damon Taleghani, Lucas Gutierrez and Luna Ali.
