In the middle of the eighteenth century, 14-year-old Marie Antoinette is married off by her mother, the Austrian empress, to Louis XVI, heir to the French throne. Marie is bored with life at court and so she begins to turn every day into a celebration. She lives a pompous and decadent life. Then one day the revolution comes to France and even Versailles is no longer safe.
