Join filmmaker Nelly Ben Hayoun-Stépanian and the festival's artistic co-director, Julia Weigl, for a conversation that will explore how filmmaking becomes both method and manifesto. Drawing upon their past collaborations with NASA, the UN, IKEA, Lego, and more, Nelly discusses how challenging institutions, employing queer methodologies, and using collective creativity make it possible to imagine a new future for both cinema and society.

In the masterclass, filmmaker and artist Nelly Ben Hayoun-Stépanianwill provide an insight into her cinematic work, which includes not only her documentary and multidisciplinary works, but also large-scale collaborations with companies and institutions such as NASA, the United Nations, IKEA and Lego. She questions institutional systems, rethinks authorship and wants to create new future perspectives for cinema and society with a collective imagination.
