Max Cooper, 3D/AV
In the organizer's words:
Electronic music meets science, technology, and audiovisual art: Max Cooper, a British composer, DJ, and producer, is considered one of the most innovative electronic artists of his generation. With his immersive performances and installations, he consistently pushes boundaries, combining driving electronic sounds with spectacular 3D visuals to create live audiovisual experiences that blend music, light, space, and technology.
Cooper’s elaborately conceived performances are far more than just a concert—they draw the audience right into a fascinating world of sound and imagery. His work is characterized by scientific curiosity, musical precision, and an extraordinary visual aesthetic. Not least, his Ph.D. in computational biology reflects the unique connections that define his work.
With his specially developed audiovisual concepts, Max Cooper transforms concert venues into immersive spaces and opens up new perspectives on the possibilities of electronic music. Following acclaimed performances at the Royal Albert Hall in London, as well as in Tokyo, Los Angeles, and Barcelona, Max Cooper is bringing his current show to Dresden for the first time. An evening for everyone who wants to not only hear electronic music but also experience it intensely—extraordinary, visually stunning, and only on October 8 at HELLERAU.
